I think there was one turboed guy around 600 RWHP on a setup intended mainly for drag racing, and a couple guys in the 400-500 RWHP range. This particular car was built using the old singleport head design; since then, a lot of others have been able to extract even more power from the singleports, and more still from splitport ('99-04) setups.

GM can get 800hp out of an Ecotec four in a Cobalt these days. V6 Ricestangs don't impress me at all.
