Idiot teenagers that tear the shit out of their cars by driving like morons should not be able to own sports cars.

It's an RX7, and rotaries, like all engines, don't last forever. Paint scheme is a little tacky, wheel spokes are a little thin, but it doesn't look so bad otherwise.

#7, Agree. Anyone who do this to an RX deserves a Honda.

My friend has a 2 year warranty on his Passat. When the warranty is about to expire, he is going to rev it up to about 8 grand and leave it there until it dies. Then comes a new motor curtosy of the VW dealership.

There was a video posted a couple weeks ago here where a guy did that in his RX7. I would suspect that no engine could survive for any more than 10 minutes constantly above redline.

#13, You blew a clutch on a new car? I would never want to ride with you. I've only ever had to replace one clutch, and that was in my Jetta at 115,000 miles. I think the last owner couldn't drive it well anyways.

#14, Go nuts, they wont honor it. There is a black box in those cars that can tell what speed the vehicle has been driven at, what rpm it has been revved too, and records abuse.

Good, because morons who do stupid stuff like that will end up making everyone else pay more as the companies pass through the warranty work costs to the prices of cars. It's like jerks who commit insurance fraud and cost everyone else more.
