It looks much MUCH better as a 2-door convertible... the new Sebring 4-door sedan just looks... wrong.

#2, I don't think it's meant to provoke an emotional response... it's meant for people that just want "a" 4-seater convertible for a relatively cheap price, and for rental fleets in Florida.

#1, i completely agree

but look at those headlights.. they look too aggressive on a not-aggressive car

but thats just my 2 cents

#3, If I wanted a "4-seater convertible for a relatively cheap price" -- that isn't fugly and doesn't totally suck all around -- I'd take a new Mustang V6. No rocker stripes, with the optional Torq-Thrust style rims. That I can feel. This Sebring is just lame... like the last one and the one before that.

#7, So would I. But I'm talking about CHEAP cars. The GT isn't cheap.

#9, I think you're missing my point ... the GT isn't in the same price class as the Sebring. The V6 Stang is closer. I' trying to compare lemons to lemons here.

The front fascia is just ugly.

#6, The Mustang is also more cramped and will probably have a harsher ride... and doesn't have an available retractable hardtop. The Sebring is not really in the same market as the Mustang convertible.

#10, the Sebring is around $30,000. Is that not Mustang GT territory?

It's a perfectly average car with a slight design edge. It's got some nice creature comforts and a realatively meager engine output. It, like the Honda Accord and Mercury Milan, is built and marketed towards younger professional types working in office buildings. I don't know where the Mustang argument came from, seeing as the cars are quite different. I like it personally, but it's not my style of car.

#19, I like it, too, but my it seems like 30+ year old women will be the buyers.
