THIS IS BULLSHIT! First Subaru starts to suck in WRC, now they introduce something that looks like a rebadged Corolla/Mazda 3. Impreza is supposed to be a rally car in street trim, not a fucking softy plushy compact!!! |

Looks like a Kia Spectra to me. Very cheap, very down-market and poorly detailed. Not good. |

#4, Why doesn't Subaru just hire Bertone or Pininfarina to design their new car? This is hopeless. Fat-sided mutation of all compact cars currently made with asstezzas slapped on. I can't see any signs of rally genes in it. |

It really is quite horrid. Bland, cheap, forgettable and not sporty at all. I'd say it'd date quickly but it already looks 5 years old. The odd thing is, Subaru can make good looking cars that are clearly identifiable as Subarus, just look at the latest Legacy for proof. |

#6, maybe they're trying to make the legacy their flagship now by dumbing down the star in the lineup... dunno |

#6, Yeah, I'd kill for a manual Legacy GT. Much nicer than last gen Impreza; slim and sharp looking, very elegant yet sporty. Not to mention it has all the guts of a rally car, just toned down for daily use. I'd take it over an STi. |

And what happened to the over-hyped "new design language" that includes gaping vaginas on the front of all new Subies? Seemed like a half-hearted attempt to create some brand identity and I can't say I'm happy to be proved right. I'm really sick to death of all these contrived styling queues coming in and out before they have a chance to make an impression on the public. Seems like a waste of time and money, not to mention an unecessary restriction on stylists.

#9, Me too. It's a stylish, fast, capable, entertaining and practical car without the baggage a European sports sedan carries. |

#11, Damn, it's under 30k too. For me it would be a perfect daily driver, not too cramped, elegant yet understated styling, civilised in daily driving but still with enough pep to let it loose or take it for an autocross/trackday. |

They should create a brand new Justy, with a cool STI variant. But for now, Legacy STI or Forester STI for me. |

#13, It's not. I tried to get a legacy gt around $30k. Best I could do was around 35. Shit even a 2006 Spec B wagon was 42,000 |
