Description:
I like this kind of Civic, it has some go with a B18C1 (Integra GSR or Type R, I forgot
which) and it looks half way decent too. The only thing possibly ricey is the wing, or
just the fact that it is a Civic =) you decide...

I dont mind civics.. these look pretty good stock, but the thing is that a stock civic is almost unheard of anymore.

B18 is from both GSR and Type R, it's just different tuning.

Belive it or not, this thing needs bigger wheels. The wing I'll live with, but is it really worth the money doing that form of conversion, wouldnt a turbo be cheaper and create better results.

B18s can be cheap if you know where to look, and extra displacement never hurts.

Aren't Integras popular to rip off (most stolen car in america I think) just to get the B18 engines? essentially the cut-up shops sell them to ricers to drop into their civics I think.

Yes, they are the most stolen car in America because all of their parts will fit on Hondas. Theives don't steal Hondas because they are so cheap, an Integra is not up to luxury standards but it's an upgraded Honda basically. Since there are so many Hondas, ripping off some Integra parts is an easy way to "upgrade" your Honda.

Integra tops the list - for modified civics was mentioned in the article. I wonder how many people are running stolen engines in their ricers?

first thing first this looks like it is about of an integra ls the cheapest integra cause it looks like a b18b no vtec cause all vtec have red valve covers, unless they are changed i cant see from here.
#5 to awnser your question an engine swap on a honda is way cheaper then turboing because of the universal engine mounts in all fwd hondas and with a turbo it might be cheaper for just a trubo but for all the parts you need after the turbo an engine swap is cheaper.

In North America all DOHC VTEC engines came with black valve covers, only Type-R's came with red ones.

Clean. I'd give it a 1, except the spoiler on the back is too long, but it could just be perspective. 2.

it would look better with a rim increase of an inch or maybe even two

For a Civic, it's nice and clean. The only thing I would change was swap the rims for some Spoon rims instead of Honda Optioal Equipment and add a carbon fibre lip spoiler instead of the wing. Other than that the B18C was a good idea and you can tell he's at least added an aftermarket intake.
