One of my older sister's friends owned an '83 Civic hatchback that was flat black with really nice clearcoat flames painted on...pretty mean looking for a Honda...ironic thing is, the engine caught on fire about a month after he had the paint done, so the paintjob was unintentionally appropriate.

I think we should just ignore Keisuke_Turbo. it's obvious he just talks out of his ass most of the time anyway

And Keisuke_Turbo would've hated it if it were stock, because Cavaliers suck compared to Civics. *rolls eyes*

I live in a brutal winter environment... you rarely if ever see imports from the 70s or 80s rolling around. You see plenty of GMs and older Fords still pulling people around - sure, they have rust - but they keep on ticking along. Bigger engines = lower revving = longer reliability in my book.
but of course - it all depends on the driver, maintenance, etc. If you really want long term reliability - buy a diesel!

I like cars that cruise at a fairly low RPM. Seems more "civilized" than having a car that needs to scream along at 4K RPM at 70 MPH.

Celica headlights, Z-28 hood scoop, z3 fender vents and GT-2 roof scoop, with all that power on there, probably has all kinds of trouble keeping the speed down. Bet he has a Corvette taillights and 4 can conversion to really pack on the ponies.

yep - all of my cars cruise at low rpms... like 1600rpm... the 3.8L in my Park Avenue is so bloody quiet - and this car is 11 years old.

even my monte with 3.73 gears in the back cruises at lower rpms... of course it is loud as hell with no cats and headers - but that's a good thing for this car!
