#5, Even so, you could still do a burnout in one. They're supposed to be pretty light. Besides, keep in mind that sliding friction usually exerts less force than static friction. In other words, if you can break the tires loose in the first place, it's generally not too hard to keep them spinning. I imagine a good clutch drop would probably break 'em loose.
Also, there is a picture on here of one of these with an SR20DET with the boost turned up, too :-) Shame it looks like crap. |

Oh, and there's a really nice Corolla SR5 of this vintage around here. Old car, but one of the few Japanese cars from that period that I'd like to have. |

Sprinter we call 'em over here, and yeah they are pretty light 800kgs or something, bit more I think. |

#11, AE doesn't stand for anything; AE86 and AE85 are just chassis code numbers. AE86 usually refers to the Truneo body style, (pop up headlights) and the AE85 is the Levin body style (no pop up headlights) |
