#160, Um, one of 'em is around 100K, and the other is around 200. Not too outrageously large--I tried to compromise between quality and size. |

#152, It doesn't sound bad for a 6. I saw a riced-up V6 Mustang around the same year as this one (silver, with Altezzas, bling wheels, and lots of purple stickers) at the gas station an hour ago and it sounded like SHIT.
Goddamn ricers. |

#162, It is the cheap base model. The fake scoop doesn't sit on top of the hood; it's recessed into it. |

#163, Sounds better in person, but that's the best I could do with a crappy cassette player and some low-quality MP3s. That's a set of exhaust pipes taken off a GT and welded on as true duals. |

#165, Oh, I didn't know your car was "modded". I thought it was factory stock. |

#166, Except for perhaps a couple riced-up V6's (maybe the new "pony package"), yes. |

#168, Factory stock isn't quite as deep, and it sounds smoother at idle. |

#170, Just had the pipes welded on this week, so it's a recent development. |

#172, No, but I've got this bizarre urge to remove my upper intake manifold and attack it with a Dremel. |

#175, That's why you attack it with a Sawzall. ;)
Maybe throw some barbells in the trunk. |

302 or 351W would be more appropriate. Not that I'm likely to consider an engine swap until a) the car is paid off, b) I have a lot more money, and c) I get bored with the 3.8. |

#177, Yeah, it's really too new for a swap. That's why you locate another older stang that needs a transplant. |

#178, Good point, indeed. The 3.8 is not a performance plant, but there are a couple dyno plots out there of modified ones making 220 RWHP naturally aspirated, or ~260-300 RWHP with a supercharger.
Now, we need to persuade DiRF to save up some cash and get at least a 351, and a heavy duty transmission. |

#179, Yeah, the DiRFmobile is going to need some assistance of the horsepower variety sometime in the future. |
