The chevy guys at the show were really liking this :)
"Now it'll run good!" they'd laugh, to which ford owners would respond "Only because the car it was in rusted away" |

Doesn't seem like it would be worth the trouble. |

#15, Ok, your's is really damn nice, but the majority of experience I have had with Fords and their owners blows ball sack. I hate the typical mustang fanboys with a passion. They don't ever do anything but talk shit and tell you how great their fucking car is. My friend had a 72 Maverick. Total pos that broke down regularly. (it now sits in his driveway with a blown tranny) He also rented a 2003 V6 Mustang while his car was in the shop. That thing sucked the fatty man sack. I killed it in my slow ass Volvo. (Did nice burnouts though) My mom's 95 Ford Explorer is on its second transmission after only 80000 miles. (my volvo's is still like new after 180000) It grenaded its own rear end, and the belt tensioner fell off randomly. (The dealership had plenty in stock due to this being a very common problem)
So yeah, I hate most Fords...

#16, Well, I know a lot of people have problems with Fords from 80 to 00+, but the best car we ever had in our family (after owning A LOT of GM products) was an 89 Taurus. It lasted for years even if I eventually got my license and beat the hell out of it sometimes. Anyways, I get what you mean about those Mustang fanboys.. from age 10 to 17, my dreamcar was a Mustang, until I got to "hangout" with some car guys who had some. They were complete asses, always telling shit about any other car. I got sick about them, found the Gran Torino and made new friends :P But now it's for sale and it pisses me. |

My family has a 93' Explorer, 185000 miles and still going, no rust, no oil usage, and made it to 170000 on the factory plugs, so we've had nothing but good luck from Ford
The fanboys still suck |

#19, I have a '97 Mountaineer with the 5.0L... it was used - but it's been very dependable - only ~86k miles on it so far (we put about 20k of those on), but I've only put new tires, done oil changes, and replaced the air filter. |
