the thing I don't like about NASCAR is how far the cars have gone from the street cars, and restricter plates. I really enjoy racing in general but I prefer ALMS, speed world challenge, rally that kind of stuff

#1127, Well, too bad for you, 'cause now I'm rooting for Rusty MORE...but the driver I'll REALLY be rooting for is Jaime McMurray...I was rooting for him when he ran Talladega in Sterling's car BEFORE he won the UAW/GM 500... I'm not one of the people that jumped on the McMurray bandwagon.

What I don't like about NASCAR is how commericalized and pussified it has become. Pre-'70s stock car racing was actual factory hot-rods with little more than basic roll bars, being driven by good ol' boys named "Junior" and "Cale". Slack jawed, macho motherfuckers in T-shirts and motorcycle helmets, always looking like they were doing something important. Now NASCAR is a bunch of pansy pretty-boys in sponsor-covered fruit suits bitching on their cell phones before and after the races about how their million dollar sallaries aren't high enough.

#1139, It's nice when someone like Tony Stewert comes along (not my fave driver, but I like him), he's not a pretty boy, he has an attitude, and he doesn't always do what he's told.
