I didn't know that they made a Civic Si in '93. Anyway, except for the stickers on the rear fender and windshield, this Civic is really clean and nice looking. The wheels aren't to gaudy, and rather suit this car fine.

Lose the graphics, but other than that it's pretty cool. I wouldn't buy it, but it's nice for what it is.

Yeah, they better stop the show and get the rice out, so we can look at REAL cars.

I saw a Civic at a car show here in Phoenix with 500hp. of course, the suspension was radically modified and it was converted to awd. I wouldn't mind driving THAT.

Um...am I the only person here who thinks those specs should make the car faster than 11.58? He also shoulda left the car in stock trim...that would make one hell of a sleeper.

1) If it actually had anywhere near 547 hp it would NEVER hook up with tires that small.
2) There isn't a front wheel drive transaxle anywhere that can take 500+ horsepower except one from an Olds Toronado 455.
3) If a car this light actually had 547 horsepwer, it would be running faster than 11.58 assuming all the above issues would be taken care of.
What a bunch of bull!
It still isn't a bad looking car and I would not doubt that it's quick but 547 hp?????
Just exactly who are you trying to fool??

500: 1) maybe he has different tires to use at the track
2) There are such things as aftermarket axles, since I assume you're referring to the axle itself rather than the transmission. Either way, there are heavy-duty race transmissions and axles available that can easily take the load. So relax.

I am always a fan of street legal drag cars. I'm just kooky like that.

I could be mistaken, but since when is 11.58 crap? Seriously, it takes lots of work to get a time like that (especially out of a civic).

I have to agree that in a car that light 547HP at the wheels it should be faster than 11.58 even with limited traction.

Anyone know what engine it's using? Also they made a civic SI from 1992-1995 in H/B form but it had a 1.6 Liter single cam engine.
