They need to lose the circular taillights, IMO. Makes it look too much like a '72-'74 'Cuda with this bodystle. Put some rectangular ones on it.
The "chin up" bar on the grille isn't too bad on this particular car, because unlike other Chevrolets, it's actually made to blend in with the car a little.

They aren't going to be using this idea anyway. According to gminsidernews.com the camaro will come back in 2007 WITHOUT the retro styling. Sell for 20k-35k+ and the top camaro will offer 400+ rwhp
