#17, "a big 70s Ford..." :P I pushed mine to 110 mph, because I only have a 3 spd tranny and it starts to sound scary at 90.

#9, have fun, asshole...because an empty highway could not possibly have a car suddenly get on, or a couple of trucks, or something like that...thats why it was built, for you to be a moron and do 150 in your new 300c, rock on!!!

#22, why dont you think of your own comebacks other than just being a kisass and clapping to other people's responses?

#13, i wont even try to think of a comeback to that idiotic comment...if you people think that doing 100+ on a highway at night is ok, then go for it, because obviously you are smarter than the cops/law, and nothing could ever happen, and government should put up speed limit signs saying: "55, but only during the day, because accidents dont happen at night, so use your best judgement"

Accidents don't happen at night? LOL!!! You are not serious or are pissed, right?
They even happened in medieval! Just ask Barbarossa. He wanted to cool himself in a river. He was still in his armor so the plan was just to stride in the water, not swim in it. But he made a step too far... Whoopsie.

#23, I don't really want to keep this going but unless the truck or car comes out of the middle of the woods or the field how is it going to get on in front of me? I dont live in a city where they have on ramps every half mile. the closest together they are up here is like 3.5 miles apart. And I didnt go 135 for 20 miles I got up to 135 then slowed back down. (That doesnt even take a quater mile to get that speed from 70 mph.) The only thing I'd have to worry about at night up here is a moose or deer and that would be my own stupid fault and im ok with that so you might as well just give up.

#29, indeed, if you can find a road where theres nothing on it and animals are the only things you have to worry about, who cares? the only person you are risking killing is yourself.

No loss for me.

if you people think that doing 100+ on a highway at night is ok, then go for it

If you're being supportive of it, what are you bitching about?

because obviously you are smarter than the cops/law

Damn straight.

and nothing could ever happen

If it does, it does. You have a human right to risk your own life.

and government should put up speed limit signs saying: "55, but only during the day, because accidents dont happen at night, so use your best judgement"

Far better, I suppose, than the ones that say "No more than 55, because we're too lazy to actually train new drivers so all of you must settle for the lowest common denominator". Those are the ones we CURRENTLY have.

...these shit-for-brains, jello pudding-for-right foot individuals also known as slow "drivers". I don't know if we can even call them "drivers", more along the lines of "rolling roadblocks", a plague sent upon us to punish us for all our everyday sins, kinda like locusts, only more annoying. God forbid that his/her right foot finds its way to the gas pedal and accidentally acts upon it, providing the car with a sudden surge of power that whisks it away to a heart-pounding, tree-blurring, cop-baiting 55mph, also know as the "speed limit". Not only do these assholes block the road during normal driving, but they also are responsible for most of the rear-end accidents on the road. With the slightest hint of a turn in the road ahead, their vehicle goes into a wild tail skid, with smoke pouring from the overheated brakes, and the driver refuses

To be so hung up on speed limits, somebody sure seems to have a problem with slower drivers...

#32, did you really have to spend all that time highlighting my response and trying to sound funny/tough in your comeback, or could you have just said "i cant think of a good response so i wont write a retard analysis of yours"

and sure, you guys have all the right to risk your own life...because you dont have anybody else who would be affected by it, like family or friends, because when you die, your parents will accept it and say "well, he had a human right to risk his own life, good for him"...they spent like 20 years raising you and you fuck it all up by exercising your stupid right to risk your life

and one more thing, if you kill a deer or a moose, you still take a life because of your stupidity, and in that case it would be a huge deal because obviously the animal was smarter than you
