It is powered by a ZZ520{ZZ4 Block from GM Small block chevy. You can see it in the August 2001 article from Car Craft on page 82. 522HP{factory ignition!} 454lb-ft torque!

I have now regained some of my old faith in Honda drivers... SOME.

ITS LIKE MY CAR!!! only a coupe... and a HELL of a lot faster.

i dont think accords would be that reliable or economical or handle too well if they all had a 500+hp V8 and drag tires

I think it'd be cool to have the whole RWD conversion in an Accord body like this, but instead have it designed to handle reasonably well.
