#1340, That's gravel traps for you. And that's another example of a driver that fights to the end: instead of easing off, letting go while he still has SOME control over the car and looking for a soft spot to end up in, he struggles until the inevitable fuck up. I rode with guys who just refused to let go and I crashed with them. I guess that in this regard driving is the same as skiing: you have to learn how to safely fall/leave the road: sometimes it's actually better to do it on purpose than to fall/leave the road when you've totally lost control over everything.
Could be better but I guess it's not bad for a 10-year old design: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dZFQ759Q7pg&hl=pl
Dad's got optional side airbags and rear middle 3-point belt (which I find funny, as it folds into a slot... on the ceiling).
#1345, I rode in a Nissan Murano that was designed like that, with the middle back seatbelt buckling into the ceiling. I just now remembered how supremely uncomfortable that seat was. And my church's youth pastor's wife is a scary driver.
Me too.... just confirms my belief that 9 out of 10 rollovers are due to gross operator error, and $50 says the truck was going to get repoed within a week anyway.
