#1419, We also have a budding export industry of misery and alcoholism.
But I haven't really heard much of people living large from being a lumberjack in this country. I've heard lots about people moving "out west" to the tar sands of northern Alberta - and the related tradework (oil workers need houses - so we need builders and electricians and plumbers - and they're going to want to buy junk from Wal mart). Another perk - Alberta doesn't have a sales tax.
I've heard of money being quite good - although I don't like the idea of working lengthy periods of time in remote places with people who seem to only care about hockey and buying lift kits for their pickups.

#1422, alberta may have the lowest minimum, but it is far easier to get hired in alberta than the other provinces, as our industries are always expanding here.

Really? Really? After driving like that, you have to ask?
Too many of those damned cars are owned by spoiled rich kids who have no idea how to drive civilly. It's incredibly satisfying to tow them in and impound them when the cops finally nab them for that shit. I remember one of those guys with a 5th gen Camaro who drove like an asshat all over town.. Cops pulled him over for something and he didn't even have registration or a license, and straight up asked our driver if there was anything he could do to "get out of this" because he didn't see what the big deal was.

#1429, I've been defending Russian drivers for a while....it's not necessarily that drivers there are worse than anywhere else, it's just that nearly every accident in Russia is captured on video now.
